Originally from New Mexico, Krista Little arrived in New York with her husband in 2026 and shortly thereafter joined our team at The Animal Doctors. She has lived in a total of 4 different states throughout her lifetime, but the place she hopes most to live in one day is Colorado! Krista has been working in the veterinary field for almost 4 years and brings a lot of knowledge of different practices with her! She loves veterinary medicine because it allows her to combine her love for animals with compassionate care for both clients and their pets.

Krista is currently working as a veterinary assistant and client care representative on our team but is studying to become a licensed veterinary technician through the Penn Foster program! She has a particular interest in laboratory work, such as blood work and sample handling.

When asked why she chose The Animal Doctors, Krista said that our clinic seemed well put together with a great team!

Krista has a keen love for all of the animals that come to our clinic and is truly gentle and caring with each and every one of them. If you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with her on the telephone, you can hear the compassion in her voice. She also has a fantastic, upbeat attitude that helps to boost the team’s morale when the day is tough!

During her spare time, Krista enjoys crafting, gardening, and fitness. She also loves spending time with her pilot husband and her sweet, beautiful dogs, Ponya and Moxy. A fun and quirky fact about Krista is that she has lived in 4 states!
